A3 Visual worked with Riot Games to execute a large venue production for the 2021 League of Legends Championship Series. Our team was challenged with flipping the Greek Theatre into a memorable experience from the stage to the strategy room.
For an esports production like this, cohesive design throughout the venue is essential to immerse fans and players into the gaming event. Custom step-and-repeat backdrops, decals, seat covers, and custom-built wall systems transformed the theatre into a gaming paradise. The dye-sublimation printing process saturated graphics in rich colors that tied in the event’s theme. As an outdoor venue, the Greek Theatre required durable materials to ensure branding, sponsors, and other logos were visible. These materials were featured in backdrops and other blockout signage that gave all participants the full experience.
